For more than 35 years, The California Music Conservatory (CMC) has offered a renowned program of music study and assessment through its certificate program. Today, the CMC Certificate Program is considered one of the most distinguished music education systems in Southern California and The Inland Valley. The program provides students with well-rounded musical training, from beginner through to advanced levels. With the completion of each level, students will enhance their skills and develop their ability to play music independently while getting a lifelong appreciation for music making.
The CMC Certificate Program curriculum begins with the Preparatory Level(s), followed by Levels 1 through 10 and concludes with the Associate Diploma of The California Music Conservatory (BACMC). A Licenciate Diploma of The California Music Conservatory (LCMC) is available for piano and guitar. At each level, a Certificate of Achievement can be earned by successfully completing a California Music Conservatory practical examination plus a recital performance. Not only does the curriculum teach the essential elements of musical training but it also encourages students to celebrates their achievements. The certificate program focuses mainly on classical music, though opportunities to play jazz, country, pop, folk and popular music are included. CMC’s classical training provides the strongest possible foundation any music student can attain.

Credit: Achievement in examinations is recognized as credits or units toward secondary music programs, as well as being an important element in entrance requirements for college and university music programs. At CMC we have "Coins" to reward students. With these Coins they get prices and Certificates.
Accredited Assessment: Examinations are professional, objective and consistent, delivered by accredited examiners and teachers for students at all levels of study.
Pedagogical Support: Teachers receive support through published books and our own, exclusive web-site, songnes.com, for examinations and to complete the proffesional program. Ongoing professional development opportunities are also available via online resources, courses and our "Levelland" series, where we have all the approved list of songs for recital and performance.
Convenient: Both students and teachers can see the progress of a student, with a unique, VIP Page. Students register in the CMC songnes program can get their own CMC-ID Number and a valid VIP page, to keep track of each lesson and see real results and progress.
